When was the last time you had a technology free evening? Lyndall shares her tips on how to go tech free for the night and it sounds blissful.
Start by thinking of a realistic time that you feel comfortable about “switching off” for the night. Ideally it is at least 2 hours before you go to bed, as your body and mind needs time to unwind. At this time, silence or turn off all technology for the day.
Now, in your mind make it a positive act of self care. Say something to yourself like “now it’s my time to switch off.”
Then it’s all about the commitment to the boundaries you have set. Remember, this is your time, knowing you are worthy of having that time for you, guilt free….to do whatever you would like…or nothing at all. Enjoy the space.
